It looks like Lyft is trying out options to increase switching costs. I have some reactions to this that draw from
Wednesday of 2nd week's lecture, but I'd rather see your thoughts.

I received this too, but I feel like 10% is not enough to have users switch permanently to Lyft. Generally prices, especially long trips, between Uber and Lyft can be sometimes 10%+ different, and for short trips 10% is marginal - you save a few cents. Interestingly, they're also providing 10% off trips without the $14.99 right now to see how people react to this.
